In 1961 it was operated by Riddle Airlines as N6507R, then in 1964 as N602Z with Zantop. In January 1967 it joined Universal Airlines as N890U. This airline operated from 1966 'till 1972, based at Willow Run Airport, Michigan. It initially grew out of Zantop Air Transport, starting with a small fleet of L-188 Electra's. The airline went bankrupt in May 1972 and its assets were received by Saturn Airways.
This machine returned to the UK for Shackleton Aviation to be operated by Sagittair and/or Field Aviation Sales. It moved to Air Bridge Carriers in September 1973 following the closure of Sagittair. It presently resides at the Midland Air Museum, Coventry, UK in Elan Parcel Service livery as G-APRL.
