This aircraft started life as an EC-130E but later re-designated with the USCG. It ended its active service in the AMARC, AZ in 1985, where it was allocated various inventory codes (45014, CF049 and finally 2G006). Subsequently its cockpit went to Reflectone, on to Asia-Pacific Training and Simulation PTE, the hulk to Bob's Air Park, AZ and part of the aft fuselage to repair LAC4588 (French Air Force C-130H 4588/61-PM) at Sogerma, Bordeaux, France.
