[This was a return deployment from Skrydstrup, Denmark to Westover AFB of 18, F-105D/F's, under 'Coronet Rudder'. They had arrived into Europe on 15th August, with the fighters using the 'LAMA' call-sign. One of the F-105D's (62-4372) crashed off the Danish coast into the Skagerrak on 26th August. This proved to be the last F-105 deployment to Europe.]
