DOBY 43 We are not declaring an emergency at this time but we are on minimum nav' aids and may come into Lajes off our flight plan due minimum capability. Lajes will assist with HF D/F on a discrete frequency.
Flight changed from 8967 to the Lajes discrete of 9023 and passed an estimate of 10:00 for 38.45n 035w.
Flight asked to squawk 3043 and ident, also call Lajes Approach on 362.3U or 135.0V.
Now passing 33.20w and do not require any further HF assistance.
USAF, C-130 (?) with nav' problems.
