Regrettably this aircraft ended its days after crashing on approach 22Km southeast of Alert, Ellesmere Island, NWT on 30th October 1991. The Hercules struck a rocky slope at night due to a miscalculation of their approach altitude, with five fatalities, from a total complement of eighteen.
