Ex Northeast Airlines DC-6B enroute to Olympic Airways, with all titles painted out in black, N6588C (as observed by the author at Shannon on the night of 19th November 1967).
This machine was delivered to Northeast on 14th September 1957 as N6588C but re-registered as SX-DAR when it served with Olympic, named "Isle of Samos". In August 1972 it was re-registered N111AR with Concare Aircraft Leasing Corp. Subsequently converted to a DC-6B(F) and served with Zantop International Airlines before being withdrawn from use in September 1989 at Willow Run, Detroit, Michigan and later broken up in November of the same year.
